It was a popular TV series from the 1980s about a former secret agent using his skills to help those who needed protection or investigative services. Well, there's is going to be a movie adaptation of Equalizer! Producers Mace Neufeld (Hunt for Red October), Alex Siskin (Big Daddy) and Escape Artists (The Taking of Pelham 123) intend indeed to bring the Equalizer to the big screen.<br /><br />The project is still at a very early stage though: there's no script yet, and no director has been announced. But according to the Los Angeles Times the production team has already a lead actor in mind: actor Russell Crowe is indeed likely to get the lead role as Robert McCall.<br /><br />Plot:<br />"Robert McCall once worked for a top-secret agency, where he did some pretty horrible things.
